Humor is the ultimate medicine- A panacea

I am privileged and honored to be one among the jokers of my college.I still remember the night when we disturbed our warden in his deep-slumber, that guy was in so much of relief when we left college.Humor is panacea and I am raising this issue to stress upon its importance.Sedentary corporate lifestyle takes a toll on our health, under such ambiance cracking up jokes is a stress -buster exercise.Humor also helps in forming teams. Laughter is the most effective short-cut between the souls. We have been taught that services can not be given until we get customer participation hence we need an audience and a prey.Sometimes it may attract people's outrage so you have to be careful to choose those who can let go and do not hold blind grudges to whoop your ass in future. In college it becomes easier to catch a prey and I suggest that instead of getting into Saas-Bahu kinda discussion take some one on a laughter trip.It does not mean that you have to humiliate that person, instead the symposium should be seductive enough for him also to join the party. I have been fortunate to have many friends with good sense of humor here at XLRI and I owe my creativity to him/her. To me laughing has been strength it helps in recovering from setbacks.I always believed that laughing upon oneself is the most difficult job because it reveals that one has grit and determination to offset the effects of blunders.

  1. This is something very true, laughing on oneself and making others laugh along is an art of only some privileged, and off course, this Corporate World seems to be full of anxieties and worries 24 * 7. In such an atmosphere, u r one of the blessed if you possess humor. College life is the best time to enhance your humor and to laugh upon, because you have friends around you, who are always there to listen to you and don't even hold grudges. This is the best way to let things go, as one of our renowned professor at XLRI remarkably said, whether it is sorrow or happiness, one should let it go and come back to the normal status to enhance the thought process in a constructive manner, and humor is the key to it.

  2. It is true buddy Humor is the Ultimate medicine-A panacea & the most apt article to be highlighted & discussed since the time I am blessed to understand things in its reality I’ve heard the phrase time and again. For decades, researchers have explored how humor helps patients relieve stress.I would like to hurray that when r faculty is very serious on subject matter we feel r energy to sit & concentrate is geting exhausted & when faculties tutor us with real flair & outlandish humor we get ourself fully emboldened with the subject.Humor is the ultimate medicine that has a miracculous power to transform even the feeble fizzle of castles in air into an everlasting prime
