What drives us to log on to orkut endless times?

Technical excellence has given us wings to fly, emphasis is not only on buying a ticket to New York from Miami or from Delhi to Mumbai.I am broaching the subject of social networking sites and blogs. Now a days we have orkut, facebook and blogs which have been very successful and I give the onus of their success to those really creative people who read the human mind and made sure that it gets an opportunity to let its emotions vent out in a proper manner. This form of communication is so popular among indians cos we are the most emotional people in the world, and luckily for the creators of these websites, we are the second largest in number :) They planned it smartly, the launch of orkut was perfect,it started with the colleges in india and we students became the podium of launch .The young users were delighted that they can now brag about their likes and dislikes, sharing the jokes and showing the pics became so damn easy with friends.Social networking through internet has become very popular since it first came into foray, we have started living in a virtual world where we think that we have been watched carefully by our loved ones even when we are offline , we carry this perception always at the back of our mind which gives us a sense of satisfaction . Hats off to those who grabbed the opportunity and gave me a chance to share my views with you all talented people. Godspeed :)

  1. AND Hats off to you Mr. Anubhav for expressing those great thoughts for the usefulness of such sites....which exist inspite of so many controversies. Everything comes with pros and cons....but it is the work of such talented creators, like those of Orkut, to overcome the cons and give a new outlook to the society.

Friends can stay together even if they are miles apart. Wheww god knows whats next in store for us. Only time can tell!!!
